Kimroy Bailey is the founder of Kimroy Bailey Robotics and the Kimroy Bailey Foundation; registered companies pursuing the manufacturing of robots and rural youth empowerment through renewable energy. Kimroy received his Bachelors with Honors from the University of Technology, Jamaica. He has garnered numerous international engineering awards from the world’s largest professional body, IEEE, in areas of renewable energy, leadership and robotics. One of his monumental accomplishments was placing 2nd in the Global Research Competition for his tropical storm robotic wind turbine in Washington, USA.
Kimroy Bailey has copped numerous prestigious national awards such as the Prime Minister Youth Awards for International Achievement, Jamaica Institute of Engineer most outstanding Electrical Engineer Graduate and Dean of the Faculty, Exemplary Student Leader Award. Kimroy currently works as a service engineer at the Wigton Wind Farm Ltd. His companies provide full time employment for 3 individuals. Dr. Dave Muir
Dave D Muir is a registered professional engineer, a community service coordinator and a lecturer and subject leader in the school of engineering at University of Technology, Jamaica. Other fulltime work experience includes prior work with Cable and Wireless (C&W) Jamaica Planning and engineering department. General Interests are in the areas of Robotics and Automation, Control and Instrumentation (Both Expert level), Energy (EE and RE), Sustainability, STEM education, Sound Engineering, Non Destructive Testing (NDT) and Electrical Installations and Maintenance. Dave earned his first MSc with distinction in Automation and Control from Newcastle University UK and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. Dave is currently the Chair of the Jamaica Section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Region 3 Area 9. IEEE is the largest Technical Professional society in the world. He has a growing publishing cadre and has being asked to speak at a number of public events outside of his fulltime duties. He is also heavily involved in the startup growth and development of the Kimroy Bailey group of companies.
