The KB Renewable Robotics Summer Camp

Summer Camp Snipping Tool

Kimroy Bailey Robotics and the University of Technology, Jamaica have partnered to present a targeted Science, Robotics and Renewable Energy summer Camp. The first week of our Renewable Robotics Camp covers: How to build a mobile robot, programing, 3D Printing, Mobile App Creation and more with an introduction to Renewable Energy. The second week of the camp concentrates on how to assemble a wind turbine and solar panels, how to build a basic solar system with batteries, charge controller and inverter. The final week wraps up with a guide to control LED lights at home using a smart phone. Both weeks include a field trip to our Renewable Robotics Laboratory in Manchester.

The Kimroy Bailey Renewable Robotics Summer program was designed by Kimroy Bailey Robotics and approved by Dr. Dave Muir head of Instrumentation and Controls at the University of Technology, Jamaica.

Our camp is endorsed by the Scientific Research Council and GENNEX; designed to revolutionize students’ passion in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) by utilizing the fascinating topics of Robotics and Renewable Energy to give students a memorable hands-on learning experience. This program is ideal for persons between 10 and 20 years old!
